I started riding at four years of age and was racing by the time I was ten.  I turned Pro at the age of 17, racing for BSY, a Yamaha Support Team, I rode with BSY for 4.5 years.  Then came back to racing riding Vet +25 until 2003. 

I spent my years of riding Pro – training and practicing with Travis Blackburn, Brian Swink, Greg Rand, Gary Semics, Gene Naumec, Ray Sommo, Timmy Ferry and many others.

I now enjoy working with our race team, of which, I a part owner, Freedom MX Racing where I have spent time working with Derek hall, Dalton Yingling, Eric Goodson, Tevin Tapia, Nick Myers and Bradon Westberry.

I love motocross and feel very passionately about riders learning proper skills and techniques to help keep them as safe as possible when riding.

I spend most of my time working, but when I’m not at work I enjoy hanging out with all of the riders at Freedom MX Racing, my friends and co-owners of the team Jeff Yingling and Ryan Damm, and the great people I’ve met at Lake City Motocross.  When I can find time I also enjoy fishing, hunting, riding horses, going to the springs or the beach and just being around great people.
